About DiFuria/Cipriai & DiValerio/Taddeo Family Tree
In building this tree, I hope to keep a permanent record of the Di Furia Family and it's generations. Also included on this tree are the many branches that we have become. As I come across information on any member of any branch, I will include the source. It is a very large tree to fill with many many arms and branchs. I want to fill them all.
Anyone who finds any mistakes with name spelling or dates please contact me with the right info. I want this to be as accurate as possible.
About family members not showing up. This is the answer I got when I asked.
"Yes Dolli, it would be nice to have spouses in these printable charts, but the important factors governing the charts are those people who make up the family, i.e. descendants and ancestors. ..... The answer is simple. The generation charts are designed to show either ANCESTORS or DESCENDANTS, NOT SPOUSES, because spouses are technically in the same generation.
Therefore, it states clearly that from the default name in the printable table, he has only 1 generation of ancestors, and 5 generations of descendants.
Any person that is below his generation (descendants view) should only show DESCENDANTS, i.e. children of that child, whether he/she is married or not."
Hope that answers any questions.
We look forward to meeting you, and have so enjoyed sharing with all the cousins we've met in the brief time the site has been up. Please write and introduce yourself.

Getting Around There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |
